The Zamfara State High court 11, sitting in Gusau has adjourned till 24th October 2022 the continuation of a suit alleging that the state government sold tractors seized by the court while the case was ongoing.
Presiding Judge, Justice Bello Shinkafi said he adjourned the case following the absence of the defence counsels in court.
Justice Shinkafi noted that the defence counsels had two days ago, through their leader, Mohammed Sadiq Suleiman, written to the court, seeking an adjournment.
Earlier, the counsel to the plaintiff, John Shaka had argued that the application seeking adjournment lacked merit, asking the judge to disregard the application.
