The South-West Security Network (Amotekun Corps) has alerted on increasing insecurity at border locations.
The Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, identified the boundaries of Ondo, Edo and Kogi States.
Adeleye spoke on Wednesday in Akure while addressing reporters during the parade of suspected criminals.
He noted that criminals usually flee to towns in Kogi and Edo after they strike in Ondo.
“The robbery cases at the boundaries of Ondo, Edo and Kogi states are becoming worrisome.
“A full complement of 32 Brigade Artillery, Amotekun, the police and DSS have been working on operations with the Edo team.”
Adeleye disclosed that they were waiting for Kogi to join the collaborative operations against outlaws.
“Because when we drive them from Ondo, they go to Edo. Once we leave, they come back.
“They stay at the boundary, such that within minutes, they could get out of the state”, he said.
The commandant assured that Amotekun and security agencies are not deterred and are trailing the criminals.
