Philadelphia rapper, PnB Rock, who is best known for his 2016 hit “Selfish,” has died after being fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, law enforcement sources told The Times.
It was gathered that the sad occurrence happened at Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles in Los Angeles on Monday, September 11, 2022, in the presence of his girlfriend.
The Los Angeles Police Department Captain Kelly Muniz who spoke during a press conference, disclosed that the robbers stormed the restaurant and demanded that the late rapper give them ‘property.’
“During the incident, at least one suspect approached the victim and a female witness inside the restaurant while they were eating and demanded “property,” he said.
After a verbal exchange, the suspect shot the victim multiple times and fled in a getaway car in an unknown direction, according to Muniz.
PnB Rock became famous at the end of the 2010s with two albums between 2017 and 2019 — “Catch These Vibes” and “TrapStar Turnt PopStar.”
Several celebrities have reacted to the untimely death of the rapper.
Rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minja both took to their Twitter pages where they reacted to the death of the rapper.
I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s babymom IG. He was in a bad location and people stay outside plotting. It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.

After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock 🕊
