Yoruba nation leader, Sunday Igboho arrives Beninise court for extradition hearing

Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a. Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation activist, has appeared at the Cour De’appal De Cotonou, a court in Benin Republic, for his extradition hearing.

Recall that Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested by the International Criminal Police Organization on Monday night while attempting to board a flight to Germany at Cotonou’s Cadjèhoun Airport.

On Thursday afternoon, several Yoruba-speaking followers of the activist were spotted outside the courthouse, amid reports that he was being prosecuted for immigration-related offences.
