President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday expressed his admiration for Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.
The Nigerian leader paid a glowing tribute to the Borno helmsman on the occasion of his 53rd birthday.
Buhari’s statement was signed by Garba Shehu, his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity.
He hailed Zulum’s “public spiritedness, energy and zeal” in tackling the ongoing situation in his state.
Buhari described the celebrant as “a reliable partner in the effort to return normalcy and development to the Northeast”.
The President says Zulum is serving the nation in an outstanding manner, adding that his passion for peace inspires many.
“He is a model for others to copy. We pray for his long life”, Buhari’s message added.
